Overview
We build digital businesses that help people make confident choices











Back in 2018, we set out to build a data exchange called UTM (Unicorn Tech Media). We wanted to help businesses use data smarter, and be more deterministic by bringing together information from across the web. We quickly learned the market wasn't ready for this approach.
Data was messy, and brands weren't sure how to make the best use of the data for their campaigns. But building UTM opened a lot of doors for us. We learned how to identify actual buyers among the crowds. We noticed that everyone was chasing the used-car segment, but new vehicles and the whole journey of automobile ownership was largely overlooked.
We saw our opportunity, and pivoted. Our big idea? Don't just focus on one transaction or one type of consumer: Build something over the entire journey, whether someone's buying a bike, then a car, or wherever their aspiration takes them. On 23rd March, 2020, 91Wheels went live. Today, we are India's youngest and fastest growing automotive website.

For us, it's always been about more than just products or business models: it's the mindset. We're not afraid to get our hands dirty, try new things, and admit when something's not working. Unlike a lot of companies chasing fast growth or outside funding, we don't mind taking our time, testing ideas thoroughly, and growing profitably, even if that means some missed trends or smaller scale in the short-term.
We've spun off businesses when the time was right, partnered with other founders when it made sense, and stayed bootstrapped longer than most in our space. What holds it all together is our willingness to learn, adapt, and keep the focus on simplifying decision-making for our customers.

Our plan is simple: stay flexible, stay close to our customers, and keep learning as we go. This approach, staying focused but remaining open to new directions, has served us well as we've grown.
